🌟 Feedback Friday 🌟

It’s Friday, which means it’s time to share some of the lovely feedback we’ve received from our passengers this week! 🚌💙

From a friendly smile and a helping hand to going that extra mile, our drivers and colleagues make a difference every day.

Here are just a few of this week’s messages… 👇

🌟 A Smooth Ride & Outstanding Service 🌟

One passenger praised their driver’s skilful and smooth driving, as well as their courtesy towards other road users and passengers.

They also highlighted how several situations were handled with care, sensitivity, awareness and professionalism. ⭐

They even described it as one of the smoothest bus journeys they’d had in a long time — and they’re loving our new buses too! 🚌💙

💙 Going Above & Beyond 💙

Another passenger wanted to thank our colleagues for their exceptional care and professionalism after they passed out at a Park & Ride bus stop in Scarborough.

Our drivers quickly arranged an ambulance and stayed with the passenger, providing care and reassurance until help arrived. 🚑💙

They also helped ensure the passenger’s vehicle was safe overnight, working with the Park & Ride team to keep an eye on it. 👏

Thankfully, the passenger has since made a full recovery and was able to collect their vehicle the following day. 😊

🚌 A Lovely Welcome for the 616 & 619🚌

We’ve also received some lovely feedback about our 616 and 619 services in Bradford.

The passenger praised our smartly dressed and friendly drivers, as well as the clean buses, and said both they and their sister are very happy with the service. 👏😊

They were also pleased that we’ve taken on the services and kept them running. 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who takes the time to share their feedback with us. It means a lot to our teams and helps us celebrate the great work happening across our network every day! 🌟🚌

📍 Pocklington Bus Stop Closed

From Monday 5 October, the bus stop outside Pocklington Depot will be closed due to roadworks.

🚌 All services that normally use this stop will instead use the temporary bus stop in the layby opposite the depot.

Please allow a little extra time for your journey and look out for the temporary stop.

Thank you for your understanding while these works are carried out. 💙

🤝 Partnership delivering results

Improving bus punctuality cannot be achieved by operators alone. That's why East Yorkshire Buses is proud to be part of the Hull Bus Alliance, working alongside Hull City Council and Stagecoach to make bus travel more reliable for local communities.

Throughout September, partners have continued to deliver a programme of punctuality improvements, targeting known congestion points, reviewing network performance and implementing measures designed to keep services running on time.

These latest punctuality figures reflect the benefits of strong partnership working and our shared commitment to providing a better bus network for Hull.
Together, we're creating a more reliable, sustainable and attractive public transport system for the city.
