Over the past few months, MuttMeisters has evolved to focus heavily on long-distance vehicle logistics and specialised animal transit. Because my long-distance schedules regularly require full-day journeys away from home, I have completely restructured our local care availability to ensure I can still support our wonderful regular clients without over-stretching our capacity!
Moving forward, standalone traditional dog walking is being retired. Instead, we are offering three dedicated Premium Care Slots designed to provide total flexibility for dogs, cats, small animals, and horses alike:

โฐ 4-Hour Pet Sitting Half-Day Slots
โฐ 8-Hour Pet Sitting Full-Day Slots
As a reminder, our website has two separate booking calendars, which enforce specific scheduling rules across our local care slots:
๐๏ธ The Dog Walking Calendar:
If you are looking for routine weekday walks while you are at work, these slots are strictly available Monday to Friday between 11:30 am and 3:30 pm.
Traditional walking slots remain completely closed at the weekend.
Location Limit: Available within a strict 5-mile radius of Kington only (calculated from our postcode to yours).
Booking Limit: Maximum of one walk per day per household.
๐๏ธ The Pet Sitting Calendar:
If you are heading out for the day, going away for the weekend, or on holiday, this calendar is open 7 days a week strictly between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. You can use this online booking calendar to book our 1-Hour, 4-Hour, or 8-Hour care slots to have your animals fed, watered, let out, or checked on.
โฑ๏ธ 1-Hour Pet Sitting Slots: Available within a strict 5-mile radius of Kington (maximum of 3 visits per day per household).
โฑ๏ธ 4-Hour Pet Sitting Slots: Available within a 0 to 10-mile radius of Kington (maximum of one visit per day).
โฑ๏ธ 8-Hour Pet Sitting Slots: Available within up to a 20-mile radius of Kington (maximum of one visit per day).
๐ณ 100% Upfront Booking & Mileage:
All local care slots operate on a 100% upfront payment basis to secure your space on the calendar. Your invoice total will include any applicable round-trip mileage surcharges, which are calculated manually based on real-time fuel prices using our fleet tracking tools. Your requested date and time slot remain provisional and open to other enquiries until this upfront invoice has fully cleared.
๐ New Notice Windows for Cancellations & Rescheduling:
Because booking a care slot locks out our finite physical capacity, any changes to your booking are subject to strict cut-offs:
โฑ๏ธ For 1-Hour Visits: A minimum of 48 hours' written notice is strictly required to either cancel (for a full refund) or to request a reschedule to a new date.
โฑ๏ธ For 4-Hour or 8-Hour Sitting Slots: A minimum of 72 hours' written notice is strictly required to either cancel (for a full refund) or to request a reschedule.
Please note: Any cancellation or rescheduling requests received shorter than these notice windows will be strictly non-refundable, and the upfront payment will be retained.
๐ถโโ๏ธ Leisurely Walks Only: A 15 to 45-minute walk can gladly be included as part of any care slot based entirely on your pet's needs. Please note that we provide relaxed, leisurely-paced strolling only - we are unable to provide rigorous exercise, jogging, or running.
๐ซ Strict Lead & Equipment Rules: For the safety and control of your pet, we strictly do not walk dogs on retractable leads under any circumstances. We use standard or training leads only. Furthermore, as harnesses can encourage dogs to pull, all dogs walked by us must either walk perfectly by our side without pulling, or owners must be open to us using a training lead for the duration of the walk.
๐ก Exclusivity & Peace of Mind: We provide 1-on-1 care and only look after pets from one single household at a time, ensuring your animals receive our undivided attention and premium welfare standards.
