Truckfest 2026🚚💨

Finally getting round to reminiscing about our weekend at Truckfest, which we think is fair to say was an absolute blast! The atmosphere was electric, with the rumble of engines and the vibrant energy of fellow truck enthusiasts 🤠

We had a fantastic time, as you can tell by these truly brilliant pictures showcasing our team and lineup of trucks on display over the weekend!

The weekend was a fantastic blend of community, innovation, and sheer trucking power. We hope that every attendee had an equally amazing time and enjoyed exploring the world of trucks as much as we did. See you all next year! 😁

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our dedicated team at Mackenzie Transport. Due to new contracts and additional trucks joining our fleet, we’re expanding and looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to come on board as a Class 1 Flatbed Tramper Driver.

We’re looking for someone professional, with a positive attitude towards their work, who takes pride in what they do and knows how to go the extra mile when it’s needed. This role suits a driver who is happy being away from home and living in the truck for the working week😀

Position: Class 1 Flatbed Tramper Driver
Location📍: Mackenzie Transport, Forth, South
Lanarkshire Type: Full-Time

Requirements:
✔️Valid Class 1 driving licence
✔️Flatbed experience preferred but not essential ✔️Willingness to work away from home all week, staying in the truck
✔️Experience with sheeting, roping, and load securing is an advantage
✔️Strong commitment
to safety and compliance
✔️Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔️Ability to work independently and manage your own time on the road
✔️Flexibility to adapt to varying
work schedules and routes

Cycle Awareness Training Complete 🚴‍♂️

At the weekend, some of our team took part in a Cycle Awareness Course as part of our journey towards achieving FORS Silver accreditation.

The training provided valuable insight into the challenges cyclists face on the road and reinforced the importance of sharing the road safely and responsibly. By gaining a better understanding of vulnerable road users, we can continue to improve safety standards and promote best practice across all our operations.

A great learning experience for everyone involved and another positive step towards obtaining our FORS Silver accreditation!

At Mackenzie Transport, we believe strong teamwork is built both in and out of the workplace ⛳ 🚚💨

This week, some of the team headed to Topgolf for a social and team-building day, giving everyone the chance to relax, have fun, and spend time together outside of the day-to-day work environment.

It was a brilliant day filled with laughs, friendly competition, and great team spirit. Opportunities like this help strengthen relationships and create an even better working environment for everyone involved.
