I’ve also somehow managed to completely fall off the face of Instagram for nearly 3 weeks 😂

Looking back through these photos, you probably wouldn’t think I’ve had much to feel down about.

There’s been a lot going on, some good, some definitely not so good. I’ve been busy, overwhelmed, pi**ed off, flat and generally just not feeling much like myself.

Hormones be hormoning and life be lifing 😂

And then, right in the middle of it all, I went to Tangier on my own for a week.

And I bloody loved it.

I worked, wandered, drank far too much coffee, went to Asilah and Cap Spartel, mooched around the Medina and spent a ridiculous amount of time just sitting watching the world go by.

Then I came home and straight back into real life at 100mph.

And somewhere amongst all of that, something I’ve been working towards for months has suddenly arrived.

On Tuesday I leave for Santorini for the very first Gallop & Globe trip.

That feels quite surreal.

It’s gone from an idea in my head to actual women packing their cases ready to come away with me.

So yes, it’s been quiet on here.

Life definitely hasn’t been.

You want to go somewhere new. You just don’t really want to do the whole thing completely on your own.

Maybe your friends can’t get the time off. Maybe your partner has zero interest in going where you want to go. Or maybe you quite like your own company, just not enough to spend an entire holiday talking to yourself.

But then there’s group travel…

And that brings a whole different set of worries.

What if you don’t click with everyone? What if you want a bit of time to yourself? What if everyone else wants to do something and you’d rather sit by the pool with a book and a glass of w**e?

Honestly, do that.

You’ll have your own room. Always. We’ll have some great things planned and there’ll be people to explore with, have dinner with and go for drinks with. But there’ll also be time to wander off, have a nap, go shopping, sit by the pool or do absolutely nothing.

Come on your own without having to travel alone.

That’s the kind of group travel I want too.

I don’t want to come home from a trip needing another holiday.

And I’m guessing you don’t either.

Gallop & Globe trips aren’t about cramming every sight, activity and “must-do” into five days.

There’ll be good things planned. Beautiful places. Nice hotels. Good food. Plenty to see and do.

But there’ll also be time to wander off, sit with a coffee, have a drink, go back to your room, skip something if you fancy it, or do absolutely nothing for an hour.

And yes, you get your own room. Every time.

Because you’re a grown woman on holiday, not on a school trip.
