People are saying this could be the end of Cunard and that is defo not true yes the news that Queen Anne leaving the fleet is sad news but it goes to show that it is P&O Cruises thats needs the help more.

It happens all the time in Business cunard only needs 3 ships to make full on profit and before Queen Anne even joined the fleet Cunard was making money as they could always fill the ships with passengers of all ages.

where as P&O Cruises is making a profit however is the same old story pile it high and sell it cheap and some times that is a very dangerous thing to do. You take one ship out of the fleet they had to move another ship right away to replace Arcadia. That is all to keep it ticking over.

A very old british brand called woolweaths did that pile it high and sell it cheap and when the financial crisis hit they went bust.

Cunard can sometime subsidise the P&O brand shortfall.

I am looking at this from what i have read and seen in history.

Cunard is going nowhere

cunard has 3 ships and all 3 have another 20 years left in them anything can happen between now or then, but until then keep on sailing.

well over the last few days their has been a few posts about how bad the food has got on Cunard. and i keep saying to myself has it or our people getting to picky i have been on plenty of voyages and i have not seen that much change at all.

if you get some bad food just send it back and they will sort it. the dramatic bloggers that keep posting the little things that do not really matter just fore clicks.

The ex P&O Cruises Oriana that was in-service for the line from 1995 till 2019 is now moving again.

from 2019 she has been in service for a Chinese line Astro Ocean and has been sailing under the name for the last few years as Piano Land.

As of the week she has now been handed over to a Spanish cruise line called Corazul and will now sail under the name Buenavista

With news coming in from Liverpool today about the demolition of their old pier that has stud there since 1899 and a new berth put in its place that would be allow two 300-metre ships that would roughly accommodate Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria at the same time and a capacity to handle 7,000 passengers a day

This is a big move for Liverpool and a welcome one. could this be the start of turn around voyages coming back to Liverpool
