CLOSURE OF BUS STOP ON 478 ROUTE

The Woodlands Road bus stop in Effingham/Bookham heading towards Leatherhead has been suspended and is not in use due to operational issues until further notice. Passengers will need to use one of the nearest stops which are:
- Norwood Road (Sibleys)
- Rectory Lane (opposite Dobbe's)

More progress on our Leyland Tiger Duple Dominant A707GPR. Windows now fitted by Louis and Harry at PSV glass which they made a great job, we have started fitting front panels installing wiper mechanism, Neil from Eastgate Trim has brought down the re-trimmed seats and laid down the flooring, both of which look fantastic.

We also require applicants to have a full PCV (category D) driving licence and a valid driver's CPC qualification. All applicants are required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

ROAD CLOSURE AND DELAY OF OTHER ROAD CLOSURE ON 478 ROUTE

Forest Road in East Horsley has been shut due to a burst water main and we have been advised it will be closed until Wednesday 4th March. There is due to be a road closure on The Street (East Lane) in West Horsley, starting from Monday 2nd March, but this has been pushed back to start on Thursday 5th March when the other road is reopened. Please see below diversions for both closures:

Forest Road closure - up to Wednesday 4th March:
No stops on Forest Road or Effingham Common Road (including Effingham Junction Station) will be served by the 478 bus. The closest stops will be Horsley Station and Effingham Crossroads.

The Street (East Lane), West Horsley - now from Thursday 5th March for 2 weeks:
No stops on Ockham Road South, Ockham Road North, East Lane or The Street will be served by the 478 bus. The closest stops will be Pennymede Drive (The Triangle) and the Pumping Station (by Bell and Colvill)

DIVERSION ON 513 ROUTE EXTENDED
The diversion currently affecting passengers in Thames Ditton (Speer Road, Summer Road, High Street and St Leonard's Road) due to the closure of St Leonard's Road has been extended until 9th February (inclusive). The diversion via Station Road, Watts Road and Giggs Hill Road will continue to be used.

ROAD CLOSURE ON 478 ROUTE
Kingston Road in Leatherhead has been closed by SES Water this morning due to a burst water main. We have been advised that this closure is to be in place until the end of this week. The 478 will be terminating at Leatherhead Station on all journeys and stops on Kingston Road (between the one-way system and Tesco) and Woodbridge Tesco will not be served for the duration of this closure.
