🚲 **BREAKING NEWS: Total Movers has discovered the solution to the white van problem…

Apparently we need fewer white vans on the roads and more cargo bikes.

So naturally, we thought we’d give it a go. 😂

Forget moving a 4-bedroom house… we’ll just strap the sofa to the bike, balance the wardrobe on the handlebars and hope the dining table fits in the basket. 🤣

“Sorry, we’re running late — the wardrobe fell off at the roundabout.”

In all seriousness, cargo bikes absolutely have their place — particularly for smaller moves, deliveries and jobs in busy town centres.

But if anyone wants us to move their entire house using one… we might need a slightly bigger bike.😂

We’ll stick to the vans for now — although apparently we should apologise for those too. 😉

🚨 MOVING HOUSE? STOP LIVING OUT OF BOXES! 📦🏠

One of the most underrated — and most stressful — parts of moving is the packing.

Endless evenings. Lost weekends. Wrapping, sorting, boxing everything up… and then living around mountains of boxes for weeks before the big day. 😩

But what if you didn’t have to do any of it?

At Total Movers, you can carry on living your life as normal right up until the day before your move.

Our professional team can come in and pack your entire home for you, carefully and efficiently, ready for moving day. 📦💪

🚚 Not your typical day on the tools! 🌿🔧

Today’s job was a little different…

Our team took on the challenge of dismantling, moving and rebuilding a 10-sided greenhouse — carefully taking it apart, transporting everything safely, and putting it all back together at its new home.

To finish the job properly, we’ve also resealed all the glass, making sure everything is secure, and ready for use.

From house moves to unusual jobs like this, we’re always happy to get stuck in and find a solution.

No two days are the same when you work in removals! 💪🚚

🌧️ As the weather starts to turn, one of the questions we get asked most is…
“How will you protect our floors from getting marked or dirty?”

Rest assured, we’ve got it covered! 🙌

Every one of our vehicles is equipped with full weatherproof floor protection, which we lay down at every address before we start moving.

Whether it’s rain, mud or just wet weather, we take extra care to protect your floors throughout the move — so when we’re finished, we leave your floors just as we found them. 🏡✨

Because moving day is stressful enough without having to worry about dirty floors!

The week is coming to an end, so here’s another one of our recent moves! 🚚📦
This move took us from Kippax to Rawtenstall. 🏡

Even though we didn’t gain access to the new property until 5pm due to the money not being transferred, this didn’t deter our team one bit! 💪 They carried out their duty with a smile on their faces and continued to provide the same professional service from start to finish.

A big thank you to our customer, who kept the team going with hot and cold refreshments, biscuits and snacks — it’s little gestures like this that are always greatly appreciated! ☕🍪

Another move completed, another happy customer, and another job done! ✅
