Leeds Bradford Airport has announced the next step in its long-term transformation programme, reinforcing its position as a key economic driver for Yorkshire, a major regional employer, and one of the UK's most forward-looking regional airports.

The latest proposals submitted to Leeds City Council would update planning conditions governing night-time operations, replacing a decades-old movement-based system with a modern noise-based framework already adopted at most UK regional airports.
