Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes of a pallet network?

Every night, our team receives close to 500 pallets across two major networks. From arrival, each pallet is carefully planned, sorted, picked, and loaded onto local delivery vehicles, ensuring seamless deliveries to businesses and customers across Yorkshire.

The process doesn't stop there. We also collect freight from our local customers, consolidate it onto our trunk vehicles, and transport it back to the network hubs for onward distribution throughout the UK.

It's a fast-paced operation that relies on teamwork, precision, and efficiency to keep goods moving where they need to be.

This year we have the privalage of sponsoring Woodhall Hills Golf Club in Leeds. Our sponsorship comes as former director at United Pallet Network Glenn Boldy becomes club captain for 2026.

We're coming in hot just like the weather... Delighted to welcome the first of four new additions to the fleet from Northern Commercials (Mirfield) Ltd.

As part of our membership with United Pallet Network, we’ve gone for a dual-branded design on these new additions for our C&D fleet. The new look brings a fresh, modern feel and is a fantastic upgrade from the vehicles they’ll be replacing.

A huge thanks to Paul Turner Signwriters Ltd for another top-quality job bringing the branding to life, they’ve absolutely nailed it once again.

And a special thank you to John Dyson for getting the deal over the line on these new IVECO rigids. Looking forward to seeing all four on the road very soon!

A fantastic evening last night attending the Leeds United end-of-season Player Awards as part of our partnership with the Leeds United Community Partnership.

Congratulations to Ethan Ampadu on a well-deserved double award, picking up both Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year. A brilliant achievement and a reflection of the standards being set throughout the club.

With everything moving in the right direction, it’s an exciting time for Leeds United as they continue their journey back in the Premier League .

Last night also marked our final event as part of the Community Partnership. We’d like to thank ELEVEN SPORTS, and especially Sophie Johnson, for all of the support and work over the past three years, it’s been a pleasure to be involved.

Not every delivery is a straightforward “reverse on the bay and unload” kind of job…

Some deliveries involve restricted access, tight spaces, awkward angles, a bit of head scratching… and thankfully, a Moffett mounted truck can often save the day.

This one definitely kept the team on their toes, but that’s all part of the job at Farsley Transport, finding solutions when Plan A isn’t quite going to get the job done.

A to B? Easy.
A to “how on earth are we getting this in there?”… that’s where the fun starts.

Big credit to the driver for making this tricky delivery look far easier than it actually was.

Another brilliant review has come in for yet another Farsley driver going above and beyond to ensure the customer receives their delivery.

This may seem like standard practice from the outside, but deliveries via all pallet networks are kerbside only, and when there is no access for 18t rigid's, re-delivery is often required and chargeable, we see it so often across the networks. It's great to see our drivers going out of their way to keep all parties happy!

The Farsley Transport fleet support team were hard at work this weekend, making sure last week’s vehicle damages were repaired and everything was back to full health, ready for drivers to arrive this morning and head straight out on the road.

It’s the behind-the-scenes work that most people never see, but these are the crucial jobs that keep the wheels turning day in, day out.

Bringing as much of our maintenance and repair work in-house as possible has made a huge difference for us; significantly reducing downtime, improving efficiency, and cutting costs. A massive win for the business and the operation as a whole.
