Industrial gala weekend this weekend coming folks, will see most of the fleet in action over the course of the weekend. Hope to see some familiar faces

INDUSTRIAL DIESEL WEEKEND
Saturday 29 August & Sunday 30 August
Join us for a weekend of heritage diesel fun as we operate a special timetable over the 2-days with trains between Scruton and Leyburn.
The proposed locomotive line up is:
✅ Class 14 (D9523): ex British Steel Corby
✅ WL4: ex Tyne & Wear works loco, also worked on Channel Tunnel
✅ Sentinel ‘Derwent’: ex Hope Cement Works, Derbyshire
✅ Class 37 (37250)
Subject to repairs, class 14 D9513 will feature on some Scruton shuttles.
03144 and the shark brake van are being used for Return to Redmire work and will therefore not be available for this event.

Draft and bottled b**r will also be on sale on the platform next to the Leeming Bar buffet car, courtesy of The Engine Shed Brewery.
🍦🍦We’re also proud to stock locally produced Brymor Ice Cream at Leeming Bar, Bedale and Leyburn stations!
🍰☕ No visit to Leyburn Station is complete without enjoying cake and a cuppa from our tearoom! Mandy’s ‘world famous’ cakes are an absolute treat.

*Children aged 3-15 travel for just £1 with a paying adult (up to a maximum of 4 children per adult). Children aged under 16, not accompanied by a paying adult, must pay ½ the adult fare price. For example, an all-day Ranger ticket will be £12.50, instead of £25. Please book in person at the station booking office.
NOTE: This is a special event and therefore no ticket discounts such as BR Priv, HRA or WRA membership will be available for the weekend.
