Leamington to Warwick 📍

Another successful move completed today! 🚚

We travelled over to Leamington Spa this morning to carefully load a family’s belongings from a beautiful period, first floor apartment before making the short journey over to Warwick, where they were starting their next chapter in a lovely new home.

One member of the family seemed particularly pleased with the move… Nala the Staffy, who now has a fantastic garden to call her own! 🐾

An early one for us today! 🚛

We were up and out for a 5:30am start, unloading some bulky furniture into storage before heading into central Lutterworth to collect a large load of garden waste.

Back home by 8:30am for a well-earned cuppa and a day of admin before we’re back out later to get the waste disposed of.

Some days are spent on the road, others behind a laptop… that’s the reality of running a small business! ☕💻

Swinford to Melton Mowbray 📍

Earlier this week we helped a lovely family move into their new home.

Having previously carried out a probate clearance for them, it was a privilege to help them start this new chapter too.

Our sister company, Hive Cleaning Solutions, will now be carrying out the end of tenancy clean, and we’ll be back over the weekend to collect the remaining waste, helping make the whole process as stress-free as possible.

We’d like to wish the family every happiness in their new home and thank them for choosing Wilkins & Co once again. ❤️

Following a recent family holiday, and with a couple of members of our team now off sick, we’re currently operating with reduced capacity.

As a result, there may be slight delays in:

• Booking in new work
• Completing quotes
• Rescheduling or carrying out some existing bookings

We’re working our way through everything as quickly as possible and will be in touch with anyone affected directly. We really appreciate your patience and understanding while we get everyone back on their feet.

It’s been a busy weekend for Wilkins & Co Removals as we completed a house clearance for a family who had sadly lost a loved one.

House clearances can be an emotional time, and we always aim to carry them out with care, respect and sensitivity, making the process as stress-free as possible for the families we help.

Wherever possible, we work hard to minimise what goes to landfill by donating furniture to those in need, passing suitable belongings on to local charities, and ensuring any unopened, in-date food is donated to local food banks.

We’ve currently got plenty of items safely stored while we continue contacting local charities to find them new homes, ensuring as much as possible can be reused rather than thrown away.

Thank you to the family for trusting us to help during such a difficult time. ❤️
