***Important information regarding the 2026 Santa Specials on Saturday 12th December and Sunday 13th December***
We are pleased to announce that this year's Santa Special tickets will go on sales as follows.
Members from Monday 7th September until Sunday 20th September.
You will be notified via email that they are available. Check those Junk boxes.
Tickets for the General Public go on sale Monday 21st September.
A link on our page will be published for you to purchase.
All the timings will be included in the information provided.

Unfortunately, due to today’s inclement weather we have decided not to run the train.
Our lovely volunteers can only get so wet. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thank you all for your support and donations. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the 10th Anniversary Celebrations. Steam will return, once it’s safe to do so.
The summer season continues; our friendly volunteers will be running the train on Tuesday 18th August until Sunday 23rd August.

Train fares, timetable and opening days

****IMPORTANT STEAM GALA UPDATE FOR SUNDAY 16th AUGUST**** We will be following Government guidelines today and will not be running any steam engines today. The train will be running as per gala timetable every 15 minutes. We will be double headed with Philippa and Daisy at each end. All 3 steam engines are on static display at Mewsbrook Station and up at Norfolk Road. So, if you have ever wanted to sit in the drivers seat of a steam engine, now is your chance. We will be doing donations only today. Appreciate this is disappointing but the safety of our volunteers and the community is of upmost importance to us.
