Completed - Bluepoint have recently completed the restoration of Fiddlers Ferry Swingbridge. The 23 ton bridge was lifted and transported back to BMS Liverpool yard for blasting and repainting. Fabrication, works to bearings and new timbers etc were all completed and the bridge refitted. Specialist Civils works were carried out by our sister company AE Farrell Ltd with new Concrete bearers cast in situ. Opening the bridge is now a single person operation rather than 4 people and a fork truck so a much improved facility! Big Thanks to John Sutch Cranes

Working for Welsh Government backed Natural Resource Wales Bluepoint have recently undertaken the first phase of abandoned and derelict vessel removal on the River Dee. Various challenges with accessibility and working on a SSSI salt marsh, only accessible via crossing the River Dee were overcome and the vessels successfully removed. The start of a large campaign saw a 12metre Catamaran dismantled by hand with all waste being processed by GSH waste for incineration with zero landfill. Great job by the Team!

What's this Bit of kit????

It's our new FoamStream Machine - A totally organic, environmentally friendly w**d killing System. Using water at 98 degrees and an insulating Foam, it systemically kills w**ds in sensitive areas by cooking them! Many of our clients have waterside spaces and we are often asked as part of our jet washing services to control w**d growth. The Foam disappears in 10 mins and it's sole purpose is to insulate the heat onto the plant and is totally inert

The fully mobile unit can work from boats or wheeled machinery and is available for one off visits or subscriptions of 5-6 visited per annum to keep on top of unwanted vegetation. It also washes street furniture and controls moss!! Ideal also for any areas that Glyphosate chemicals are not suitable for - I.e Nurseries, sports pitches, public Spaces etc. ideal for block paving and Setts and saves the pointing as is low pressure application

Recently completed on behalf of our sister company AEF projects who are the main contractor. Footbridge blasted and coated in Jotun paints. Our pontoons and workboats assisting Farrell’s with the infrastructure and support to deliver on time and budget. All Plant including pontoons, transport, safety boats, scaffold, site accommodation, fencing, telehandlers, compressors, generators and paint spray equipment all owned in house!

France Heyhurst salvaged from Canning dock, towed back to our yard and lifted out. Good job by the gang! And great to work with Commercial Boat services for the pumping and refloat

All packed away now but good job in assisting Liverpool Marina do some channel clearance.
Float on was used to carry out some water injection dredging and then we sent our plough out to level off the bed.
