A1 School Runs were delighted to once again sponsor the Liverpool Taxi Drivers Children and Care Outing Fund Golf Day this year.

It’s always a fantastic event and, more importantly, it supports a brilliant cause — helping Liverpool taxi drivers provide days out, experiences and lasting memories for children and young people in care.

As a local company working alongside Hackney drivers across Merseyside every day, we’re proud to support the taxi trade and give something back to the drivers and communities that play such a big part in what we do.

We’ve worked with many of our drivers for years, providing regular home-to-school transport across Liverpool and the surrounding boroughs, and it’s great to be able to stand alongside them in supporting such a worthwhile charity.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising another brilliant day, and to all of the drivers, businesses and sponsors who continue to support the fund.

🚕 DRIVERS & PASSENGER ASSISTANTS WANTED FOR SEPTEMBER! 🚕

A1 School Runs is now preparing for the new school year and we’re looking for people across Sefton, Southport and surrounding areas to join us for September.

🚗 DRIVERS
We’re looking for licensed Private Hire, Hackney and multi-seater vehicle drivers interested in taking on a regular permanent school run.

We are looking for passenger assistants throughout the Sefton areas,

Including Crosby, Thornton, Litherland, Formby, Maghull, Lydiate, Southport, Ainsdale, Birkdale, Scarisbrick, Burscough and Ormskirk, as well as all other areas of Sefton.

Applicants should already have an Enhanced DBS, or a DBS that has remained active within the past two years.

Passenger assistants are collected from home each morning by their regular driver. They then travel with the same children and help ensure they are transported safely to school. Once the route is completed, the driver takes the passenger assistant back home. The same process is repeated in the afternoon.

The role offers approximately 10–15 hours per week, competitive pay, a permanent regular route and a September start.

A1 School Runs are recruiting reliable drivers across Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens.

We are especially looking for Hackney drivers with 5 and 6-seater vehicles, with Private Hire drivers also welcome.

This Easter, we’ve donated over 200 Easter eggs to Liverpool Council to help support local children and families who need it most.

It’s only a small gesture, but hopefully it helps bring a bit of happiness over the Easter period.

A big thank you to our A1 School Runs team and drivers who helped make this possible.

The council will now be distributing the eggs to the families who need them across the city 💛
