I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported my campaign for TSSA President, from those who nominated me, to the members who gave their time, encouragement, and most importantly, their trust and their vote.

While the result was not what we hoped for, decided by just 30 votes, I am immensely proud of the positive, honest campaign we ran together.

A loss will not see my vision for A New Era for TSSA fade. I remain as committed as ever to our union, to our members, and to the principles that guided this campaign: fairness, transparency, and accountability.

I will continue to represent members as a rep, to stand up for your rights, and to work every day to strengthen TSSA from within.

Thank you again for standing with me. The campaign may be over, but the work continues together.

Finally, I would like to congratulate Adam on his election and wish him well in the role. Our members deserve the very best from all of us, and I will continue to play my part.

Our reps are at the heart of every success we achieve in the workplace. They are the first line of defence and the strongest voice for our members.

As President, I will make sure reps have the resources, training, and release they need to lead confidently, and to build the collective strength we’ll need as we face the rollout of GBR and ongoing challenges from this government.

Update on President Election
The re-run of the Presidential election is now underway. Three candidates have secured a place on the ballot:

Adam Wilson
Election timeline:
2 - 15 September Preparation of member data and election materials with Civica
16 September Ballot packs sent to members
8 October Deadline for re-issuing ballots
15 October Deadline for receipt of completed ballots
