- Arrive Early - with current staff shortages in numerous airports make sure you give yourself plenty of time to account for any unforeseen circumstances.

- Packing - A lot of short haul flights have changed policies so that you can only take a small cabin bag onto the flight. Make sure you pack light and avoid any extra costs for that extra weight!

- Check-In Online, checking in online in advance will save you a lot of time at the airport (some airlines even charge to print tickets on arrival)

- Be Prepared at security - Keep all the items that need to go out onto the tray readily available, laptops, liquids, you know the drill..
