A big thank you to Microlise for hosting its annual charity golf day yesterday in support of Transaid at the stunning JCB Golf & Country Club.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, sponsored and donated, the event raised a phenomenal £11,000+ to support our work improving road safety and access to healthcare across sub-Saharan Africa. 👏

On World Bicycle Day, we're celebrating the life-saving role bicycles play in rural communities across sub-Saharan Africa. 🚲

From Community Health Volunteers visiting families and identifying sick children, to bicycle ambulances helping patients reach healthcare in an emergency, bicycles help connect people to the care they need.

You can help keep these vital services moving:

🔧 £10 could help fund bicycle repairs
🚲 £140 could fund a bicycle for a Community Health Volunteer
🚑 £650 could fund a bicycle ambulance

A huge thank you to the British International Freight Association - BIFA for hosting a fantastic charity golf day in Chelmsford in support of Transaid. ⛳

The event brought together members and supporters from across the logistics sector for a brilliant day of golf, networking and fundraising, raising an incredible £2,200 for our road safety and access to healthcare programmes across sub-Saharan Africa.

We're also grateful to Westbound Logistics Services for sponsoring the day and helping make the event such a success.

We're celebrating 10 years of partnership with the Cold Chain Federation! 🎉

Over the last decade, the Cold Chain Federation has been a fantastic supporter of Transaid, helping to raise awareness of our work amongst the cold chain sector, and vital funds for our road safety and access to healthcare programmes across sub-Saharan Africa.

From taking on cycle challenges and supporting our Christmas Appeal, to choosing Transaid as the beneficiary charity of their annual Summer Party and Cold Chain Live! events, their members and supporters have raised thousands of pounds to help transform lives.
