Guidelines on sending duty and tax-free balikbayan boxes is TEMPORARY SUSPENDED until Mar-18

Good news, may maagang pamasko ang BOC sa inyo mga kababayang OFWs!

Makaka-avail ka na ng P150,000 duty and tax-free privilege nang hindi na kailangan magbigay ng iba't ibang dokumento. Siguraduhin lamang na makipagtransaksyon sa lehitimong deconsolidators upang maprocess ang inyong package sa Customs.

Hi Everyone, to those who are unsure how to complete the Balikbayan Information Sheet from Bureau of Customs, please see this example. This person is a "Non-Resident Filipino" who will be sending a box this year for the first time since the new Customs rules were implemented. Please ensure that the areas in Circle are completed correctly.

A Non-Resident Filipino is a Filipino living abroad who retained its Filipino Citizenship/ Nationality, living here with an Indefinite visa, dependant visa, has a Dual visa or "natural-born citizens of the Philippines who become citizens of another country" (Filipino with a UK Passport) under Republic Act 9225.
