A little reminder that better weather is on the way ☀️

This photo takes us back to those warm summer move days — clear skies, long evenings, and that steady busy-season rhythm. Right now we’re working through the rain and winter chill, but it’s all part of the cycle.

Before we know it, the sun will be back, the days will be longer, and moving season will be in full swing again.

Today’s move: London ➡️ Bath 🚛

We helped one of our customer’s daughters with a small furniture move today — a few key pieces, carefully transported and delivered safely.
The challenge?

Third floor, no lift, a bit of a drive, and some classic British rain 🌧️ — but all handled smoothly and with care.

Every move matters, no matter the size. Planning, protection, and steady teamwork all the way.

📦 “How do you even move plants safely?”

We hear this all the time.

Many people think putting plants in a box is a bad idea — so they carry them one by one, making multiple walking trips back and forth. It feels safer… but it usually means more time, more effort, and more risk of dropping something along the way.

Our method is different 🌿
We use an open-top box system, which is designed specifically for safe plant transport.

✔️ Plants stay upright and visible
✔️ Cardboard sides provide protection from knocks
✔️ Packing paper is wrapped around pots to prevent movement and soil spillage
✔️ The box edges act as built-in handles for stable lifting

Instead of five or six careful little trips, you can often move multiple plants in one go, safely and securely — saving time and reducing handling risk.

Plants can breathe, stay supported, and travel without being crushed or overheated. It’s simple, controlled, and much safer than it looks.

Moving home doesn’t mean leaving your plants stressed or damaged — it just takes the right approach 🌱🚚

Busy week for the Promover Team 🚛

We’ve been all over the place again this week, helping customers get packed, moved, and organised properly.

Started the week adding more items to an ongoing Austria shipment everything wrapped and safely stored, ready to go overseas next month 🇦🇹

We also had a pre-pack earlier in the week to make moving day easier, followed by a smooth move from Wandsworth to Woolwich. Always nice when good preparation pays off.

Another job took us to SW3, where we carefully wrapped, labelled, and moved items into storage for an interior designer so renovation work can begin.

Midweek we were out delivering packing boxes and collecting them back from customers who finished packing keeping everything moving as it should.

And we’re finishing the week today with a move into storage and a self-pack collection heading to Redhill 📦

Different jobs, different homes, but the same focus every time protect everything properly and keep things calm on the day.

While one move is underway, the next one is already being prepared.

Christian was in SW18 carefully packing and protecting a customer’s belongings ahead of their relocation to St. Albans. While another Promover Team crew handled moving day elsewhere, he focused on making sure everything is fully ready, organised, and safe for the big day.

Smooth moves start long before the van arrives. Preparation is what keeps everything calm and on track.
