This facility offers a designated rest area for drivers within the Heathrow Cargo Estate, providing amenities like seating, tea/coffee, and toilet facilities. Vehicles conducting business within the estate can benefit from 3 hours of free parking, with subsequent hours charged at a rate starting from £1.

Scheduled to conclude on Thursday, 21st August, BIFA urges its members to take advantage of this trial to explore how the facility could enhance cargo operations and improve landside efficiency.

Feedback from users will be crucial in evaluating the facility's effectiveness and in considering all aspects before potentially establishing a permanent site in the future.
