On 2 September, Liverpool Cruise Port will bring together colleagues, partners and members of the port community for a coastal clean-up at Crosby Marina and Crosby Lakeside.

The event forms part of Global Ports Holding’s international sustainability initiative, bringing our global network together to protect the marine environments in which we operate.

A great opportunity to take practical action, celebrate local biodiversity and make a positive difference to the coastline we call home.

We were delighted to recently welcome students and professors from Clemson University to San Juan Cruise Port as part of the SSA Education Abroad Summer Program.

During their visit, the students explored the connections between tourism, international business, culture and the cruise industry, gaining first-hand insight into port operations, infrastructure, economic development and the wider impact of cruise tourism.

Their curiosity and fresh perspectives made the visit particularly meaningful, and we were proud to share an insight into the many opportunities within the cruise and port industry.

We wish the students every success as they begin their next chapter and look forward to seeing the future leaders they will become.
