It's time for another profile! 🌟

Starring today: Adrienn Solyom, Senior Sea Freight Account Manager at Corten.

Originally from Hungary, Adrienn joined Corten eight and a half years ago. Adrienn has worn many hats in the business and is a true Multi-Modal Freight operator. She started in 2015 and has worked in Air Freight, Sea Freight, Road Freight & Warehousing. Some of her daily responsibilities include overseeing her client shipments, following up with her client's appointed operators, and training new members of the sea freight team. 🚢💼

When we asked her what she loved about her job, the list was endless… she kept going. However, the main ones were seeing clients satisfied with the team's work, spirit, and the office team lunches! 🍽️🤝

Fun fact: The Corten team comprises people from different backgrounds and nationalities. Due to this, we explore a dish from the country of one of our team members every month for a team lunch. 🌍

While living in her home city of Budapest, Hungary, Adrienn enjoyed going to ruined pubs with her friends. These pubs in abandoned buildings are quite popular in the city. One of her favourite pastimes is Foosball, which she still enjoys playing with friends whenever possible. ⚽🏰

She is also a big music lover and appreciates all genres of music. If you were to listen to her Spotify playlist, don't be surprised if it goes from a heavy techno track straight into a soft piano instrumental. 🎶Her other hobby is card games. She is currently obsessed with the game Radlands.

We'll end this introduction with something you might be surprised about Adrienn: she used to do Reggaeton Dance! 💃

Introducing the great people who make Corten great! 🌟 We are kicking things off with Bruna Natale.

Bruna works in our London HQ as Senior Air Freight Account Manager; she takes care of the implementation strategy for the company, is the escalation point for the Operations Team, and maintains connections with our clients.🚀

What she loves about her job is building client relationships, the daily problem-solving aspect, and overseeing birthdays. 🎉 (Bruna brings in the best birthday cakes ever! 🎂 The only downside is she cannot reveal who makes them… we guess that it could either be Mary Berry or Nigella Lawson)

Before coming to the UK in 2015, she lived in her home country of Brazil. She enjoyed going to Brazilian rodeos there, mainly Festa Do Peao in Barretos. This is also where her love of Brazilian country music, Sertanejo, came from. 🎶 She also frequently visited the neighbourhood of Liberdade, known for being home to the largest Japanese population outside of Japan. 🏯

Corten was her first place of work since coming to the UK! Her love for a pint came from visits to The Rosemary Branch pub after work. 🍻 However, those days are long gone, as when she isn’t a Senior Air Freight Account Manager, she is a full-time mum to her 3-year-old son. 👩‍👦

Bruna will represent Corten from 5th March to 7th March 2024 at INTERMODAL at the São Paulo Expo, Brazil. If you are going please arrange a meeting on stand
