Until this point when we wanted to fill our water tanks we were having to fill up a Jerry can from the mains supply, then suck that water up with a 12v pump. We'd have to do this 4x in order to fill our tanks. We had no way to bypass the pump and connect directly to the mains supply, so filling our water tanks was a lengthy messy process each time. I added a valve and a new hose to enable me to switch between the pump or direct mains to fill up. Now the process is far faster and neater... Even if it doesn't look like it!
