"Well, I went to a sewage pumping station."

But not just any sewage pumping station… this is the Cathedral of Sewage! ⛪💩

Located in south-east London, Crossness Pumping Station is a Victorian engineering masterpiece, built in 1865 as part of Sir Joseph Bazalgette’s revolutionary sewer system to help tackle London’s sewage crisis. Its incredible ornamental ironwork, grand architecture and enormous pumping engines make it one of the most extraordinary industrial heritage sites in the country.

Proof that even a sewage pumping station can be absolutely stunning! 🤯

Lots of little tweaks that most people probably won't notice, but they'll help tidy things up and bring the announcements more in line with our other fleets on and to ensure consistency.

‘Matt The Bus Guy’ perhaps? 🚌😂

A really interesting tour of Stagecoach East's bus depot in Cambridge yesterday! 🙂 It felt very strange being in a workshop with no rails in the floor I must admit! 😂 Even got to sit behind the wheel!

Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve wanted to get my PCV licence, but as I don’t work in the bus industry, it’s always been difficult to justify the cost of the training.

Yesterday though, really got me thinking… why not just go for it?

If the past few months have taught me anything, it’s that tomorrow is never guaranteed. Sometimes you just have to stop putting things off and give yourself the chance to do something you’ve always wanted to do.

So, should I just bite the bullet and go for it? 👀

Maybe this is a sign… 🚌🤔
