The next litter pick will be on Saturday 13th June meeting outside Shepherds Hill Library. We will meet at 9.30am and work for an hour. We will provide high-viz tabards, bags, litter pickers and gloves. New joiners are welcome.

The Guerrilla Gardening group, which aims to care for unloved green spaces around Highgate, is aiming to meet on Thursday evenings (change from Sunday by popular request as evenings are easier for some) this summer: June 4, June 18, July 9th - all subject to weather.

We will meet at 7pm and work for up to two hours (but just turn up for as long as you can). Venues to be advised.

Some members of the tidy up team did an extra shift in the woodland by Southwood Lane and collected a heap of rubbish. What commitment!! Many thanks to them for their efforts.

Highgate Poetry Walk
Sunday 21st June - 2.00 pm

Join us for a “Poetry in Motion” walk event: a relaxed, sociable circular walk with poetic pit stops around Highgate.

Along the way, we’ll pause for a series of short poetic readings from authors linked to Highgate ranging from Samuel Taylor Coleridge and Christina Rossetti to Rosemary Tonks, Karl Marx and even a smattering of Vogon poetry. The selection is deliberately eclectic, blending the classic with the unexpected.

2.00 to 3.30 pm followed by tea and cake. Meet and finish at 10A South Grove.
