Just doing a show of hands for who would be interested in the Womens Lions tour to New Zealand in 2027? We would be looking at doing a 17/18 day tour taking in the 3 test matches and 1 midweek game.

Morning everyone.

Some bad news I’m afraid. Our ticket supplier has informed us he will no longer be able supply the hospitality tickets he had promised us.

This is down to World Rugby who had initially said they would supply tickets to independent agents but have now gone back on that.

To buy direct from World Rugby would be £5500 per person for the 2 match days so that has pretty much left us dead in the water as we were hoping to bring the whole tour in for around that price.

Myself and Ray have decided due to what the tour would cost not to go ahead with it as the whole reason for us starting Sapper Tours was to give people an affordable tour rather than pay the prices other tour companies charge.

Instead we will organise a tour of New Zealand for the inaugural Women’s British and Irish Lions tour. Further details will follow in due course.
