It's almost officially open! September will launch the new water park at Great Stirrup Cay! There are also some great specials happening. I've already got my 2027 cruise planned and the water park is on the list! Who else is in???

Alright cruise friends...NCL is running an awesome special right now and for a short time. Tomorrow through July 20, free gratuities for many of the cruises for 2026 and 2027. For a balcony cabin, that's $280 for a 7 night cruise or $350 for a Haven cabin! That means you don't see those charges adding up each day. London was amazing! So I already mentioned Mark - who was awesome and even got us a ride to the airport with Dennis (also a tour guide). We stayed at The Rubens at the Palace, which was a beautiful property, complete with a delightful team including a doorman, concierge, afternoon tea, bar, and two restaurants. The air conditioning worked well, the room was comfortable and well appointed, the elevator was small, but worked well. We were only up one flight, so I took the stairs most of the time. We had drinks and food a few times at the Crown Bar. Drinks were good and the food was delicious. We made it one evening for the live singer, she had a beautiful voice and the volume was just right. The team at the hotel was so kind and helpful with every encounter. The location of the hotel was great. We were just under a mile from Hyde Park and a few blocks from the Victoria Station Underground and a short walk from several bus stops, including the Big Bus hop on/hop off bus. The audio tour could be cheesy, but was a fun way to listen to tidbits about the City as we rode around. Overall, a great stay at the Rubens! I would definitely recommend it.

If I wasn't before, I am now dreaming even more about going back to Venice because I discovered the NH Collection Murano Villa.
