Way back when!

Re-discovered these old photos of Dohertys stripping the LTFC pitch ahead of installation of the infamous plastic pitch back in 1985 🙃

If you look very closely we are thinking that the young lad jumping into the passengers side of one of the wagons is our very own boss - he remembers the job well ⚽️

We had a little strip of that hallowed turf in our garden at home for years 😍
