🌡️ Nobody wants to break down, especially on the M6 motorway in a heat wave!

In these situations, as we arrive on behalf of Equine Rescue Services, we close all the windows and turn on the air conditioning in the horse stalls to ensure a cool ambient temperature for our passengers comfort, right from the moment they walk up the ramp to when they unload at home🌡️

As always a big thank you to National Highways for their assistance and efficiency in closing the M6 for everyone's safety during transfer from lorry to lorry.

Collecting your new horse should not involve breaking down! Fortunately the new owner of this lovely young thoroughbred had Equine Rescue Services cover 👌

Breaking down on route to your mini break is not ideal, but with a rescue services policy in place you can still make you destination and.... relax!

Often we are called out by Equine Rescue Services to assist on homebound journeys, but today we were delighted to deliver these friends to Somerford Park for the start of their holiday and some equine fun!!

This weekend we were called out for another Equine Rescue Services breakdown, however this time we had an extra passenger, the gorgeous Ruby 🐕.

As we are also licensed and insured to carry dogs, cats and small animals, we were able to safely return home both of Courtney's four legged family.

When working alongside Equine Rescue Services you never quite know what the day may hold.

Fortunately for all concerned, yesterday our rescue was from a nice safe location at an event in Southport, all the way home to Cumbria.

PRP Rescue

The most memorable one for us is when we got back from a job and as we were washing the lorry out we heard a little whimper !!! Hey ho cheeky little terrier had hopped in the back while we were unloading and decided to make himself comfortable in a rug His owner was overjoyed when we called her ( she had been looking for him everywhere since we left !!!!’ ).

We are always busy at this time of year anyway, but no sooner had we got back from a private job today, we had another call from PRP Rescue for a lady and her horse on their way back from a show.

On the back of yesterday's job too it only serves to highlight how important having rescue cover is. It can normally be bolted on to your insurance or you can of course contact PRP and take out a policy directly with them.

We are always on call 24/7 if you don't have breakdown and need rescuing anywhere in the country (we have taken rescues as far home as the north of Scotland), but whilst we hope you never need recovering, we do recommend having something in place just in case you should you ever need it.
