The charity Sibs runs a support group for the adult siblings of autistic people, with online meetings taking place every other month, featuring a topical discussion.
The dates of meetings and subjects for the rest of this year are as follows:

- Friday, October 16, from 7pm to 8.30pm, Managing our own Neurodivergence or Disabilities as Siblings
- Monday, December 7, from 7pm to 8.30pm, Meltdowns & Shutdowns

School suspensions and exclusions can often be a symptom of unmet or unidentified need for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Following new guidance from the Department of Education, our website has been updated regarding the suspension and permanent exclusion of pupils from local authority maintained schools, academies and pupil referral units: https://www.ipsea.org.uk/.../category/exclusion-from-school
Last year, we saw a 14% increase in the number of families who contacted IPSEA because their child or young person had been excluded or suspended from school.
