2026 has had its moments.

Besides fighting one of the hottest summers anyone in the office can ever remember, 2026 has been one of our busiest years yet (and with no signs of quieting down 😅)

However, in amidst the chaos, it’s always important for us to be able to reflect on new achievements, no matter how big or small they actually are.

Pictured is one of our vans delivering on a massive move from the Scottish Highlands ( 👀 the furthest north we’ve ever been!) to Lancashire.

It’s also important that we thank our team who deliver nothing but the very best Soldiers On The Move has to offer; rain, sleet, hail or snow.

You’re the lifeblood of this business and the reason our customers choose us time and time again. 💚🫡

Moving season is in full swing and we’ve been VERY busy! 🚚

We’ve been heads down on delivering nothing but the very best in removals to all of our deserving customers, making sure they’ve got all the support & guidance they need to relocate confidently.

In turn, they’ve very kindly rewarded us with some strongly worded reviews (total understatement!), and we’re LOVING the feedback! 🫡

So, if you’re one of our very valued customers and you see your review in the comments, take a bow! We wouldn’t be where we are today without all of the support.

Something tells me we’ll be at 500 reviews before we know it! 👀

Behind every front door is a story. 📕

From first steps and words to bumped knees, scrapes, celebrations, birthday cakes, vulnerable moments, times of hardship.

From crowding around a dining table and putting the world to right with those you love to late-night conversations over coffee in the kitchen.

Every sofa, every toy box, every photo frame… They all carry precious memories that can never be packed away. 💝

We don’t just move furniture and possessions.

We move memories. Milestones. Moments. The next chapter of your family’s story.

Make a Move with Us.

Reviews are the lifeblood of what we do, and as a company that puts customer satisfaction at the forefront of everything we do, we’re not often left for words! 💚

So, with that being said, a HUGE thank you to this customer for their fantastic review. Everything they praised is exactly what we’ve worked so hard to build, so seeing it reflected in the experience we deliver means a great deal to the whole team, from the office staff to the moving crew. 👐🏻

Considering a move recently? We’ve got you covered. Just drop us a message or call the team and we’ll take care of you. 🪖

Introducing Waterloo & Normandy 🫡

Named by Danny, our Managing Director, and a former 45 and 42 Royal Marines Commando.

Both named in honour of two historic battles, Normandy and Waterloo, are two of our oldest workhorses.

They’ve truly seen it all. From tight city streets to cross-country moves and everything in between… but they’re still going strong, helping customers move from A to B with speed, care, and efficiency. 💪🏻

Moving soon? Need help from Normandy or Waterloo?

Introducing Somme 🎖️

Named by our office manager, Sue, Somme is one of the larger and longer-serving members of our fleet, used day to day to service domestic moves throughout Manchester & the North West.

Named after the infamously brutal Battle of the Somme, in which over a million lives were lost on both sides over the span of around 5 months. Somme stands in tribute to the fallen, and pays homage to our military roots as a business.

Moving soon? Want to see Somme & the lads in action? Get in touch with our team today on 0161 327 1981, and we’ll give you a free estimate. 🚚

Introducing Zeebrugge! 🚚

Named by Kenny, Zeebrugge is a smaller vehicle in our fleet used for daily operations such as box drops, estimations, small scale logistics and team transport.

Named after the famous St George’s Day raid in 1918, Zeebrugge commemorates the lives lost during the valiant raid and Kenny’s service to King & Country with the Royal Marines.

Moving soon? Want to see Zeebrugge in action? Get in touch with our team (we reopen again on Tuesday 5th May!) on 0161 327 1981 and we’ll give you a free estimate. 🪖

Ever wondered why our fleet is named after historic battles? ⚔️

As a military-owned and majority-operated removals business, the connection runs deeper than branding alone. Many of our team members have served King and Country, and the names carry personal significance through their own experiences in service.

To honour the lives lost in these historic battles, we’re launching a series of videos that take you inside each vehicle in our fleet and share the stories and meanings behind the names they carry.

So, let us introduce you to Kohima, and more importantly, Carl’s connection to the newest addition to our fleet. 🚚
