People often say back-loads shouldn't exist.

We think sub-contracting shouldn't exist either.

We're a long way from winter, but around here it's already Sub-Zero.

That's because with the Avango DMS platform, the driver that claims your booking, is the driver doing the work.

If anyone other than the person/vehicle on the ID attached to your job turns up, then it's a security risk and you should withhold the goods and report it to us immediately.

It means;
- Better prices for customers
- Better earnings for drivers
- Increased security in the supply chain

This isn't a theory.

UK drivers - Make sure you're compliant if your work takes you into the EU - new rules are now in force.

Reminder for operators carrying goods between UK and EU 📢

Since 1 July 2026, some light goods vehicles have been required to comply with drivers’ hours and tachograph rules. 🚛

The change affects goods vehicles, and vehicle and trailer combinations, weighing more than 2.5 tonnes that are used to transport goods for hire and reward or own account when driving is the drivers main activity between the UK and EU.

If you’re affected, you must:

✅ Comply with assimilated drivers’ hours rules
✅Ensure your in-scope vehicles are fitted with a Smart Tachograph version 2
✅Use the tachograph to record driving time, rest, breaks and other work.

Now is a good time to check whether your vehicles are affected and make sure you’re meeting the requirements.

If you’re operating solely within the UK these requirements do not apply to vehicles that do not weigh more than 3.5 tonnes.

Demand for tachograph installations remains high, so if you have not complied, now is the time to act ⌛.
