87% of Customers travelling with Metroline Manchester reported overall satisfaction, the highest amongst operators on the Bee Network according to the Your Bus Journey Survey from Transport Focus.

Regional CEO Patrick Sibley said: "We are proud to be the Bus Operator leading the way in Greater Manchester with 87% overall satisfaction in the latest Your Bus Journey Survey with Manchester overall seeing the biggest year-on-year increase in satisfaction under the Bee Network. We look forward to continuing to deliver an excellent service for our passengers whilst also looking at how we can further enhance customer experience and satisfaction."

Ahead of the Easter Weekend, staff from our Ashton and Wythenshawe depots collected and delivered over 500 Easter eggs and activity books for children at local schools and hospitals. Organised by staff at the depots, donations came in from the teams at our depots as well as Morrisons Dukinfield who were a great help in supporting the cause.

The gifts were distributed to Oakdale Primary School, Tameside General Hospital’s Children’s Unit, Wythenshawe Safe Spots, and the Children’s Starlight Ward at Wythenshawe Hospital. The event brought joy to many children and demonstrated an amazing effort that really made a difference. A huge thank you to all who donated!

This week marked an important step in strengthening inclusion, representation, and support across our organisation as we officially launched our Women’s Network.

It kicked off on Wednesday with a Lean in Circle exploring biases in hiring and the barriers that can impact women throughout their careers in transport. Thursday saw the second event focus on women’s safety when travelling across Greater Manchester.

Both sessions were uplifting and reminded us how powerful it is when people come together - women and allies alike from across the business - to learn from each other and commit to meaningful change.

We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with Embassy Village! Embassy Village offers residency for homeless people and work with their residents to help teach valuable life skills and support into employment.

We were thrilled to be invited to the launch event on 23rd February and see the hard work of the Embassy Village team come to life. Their new, purpose built site is the first of it’s kind in Greater Manchester and contains 40 modular homes, a community hub and more.

As part of this partnership, we have committed to contributing towards funding a support officer role and look forward to providing employability and mentoring opportunities and more for their residents.
