This week, it's been all hands on deck here at EYC! 💪

Alongside working through cut files and supporting our machinists to help reduce lead times, the team has been busy fitting some of our smaller covers. Here's a look at the variety of projects we've had the pleasure of completing:

- A fantastic taupe boom tent, designed for quick installation and maximum shade, so the owner can relax comfortably while at anchor.

- A sprayhood for a Southerly, ready for the season ahead. Crystal-clear vision will make all the difference out on the water!

- A lovely enclosure for a pilot launch in the less commonly chosen Vanilla fabric. It complements the boat's unique hull colour beautifully.

- An enclosure for the Southerly, providing protection from whatever the unpredictable UK weather decides to throw at us.

- And finally, an enclosure for this dry-stored Monterey, keeping it protected and looking its best.

From boom tents and sprayhoods to full enclosures, no two weeks are ever the same. We really do have the pleasure of working on an incredible variety of boats and covers, and we wouldn't have it any other way!

The complete package is now ready for cruising, showcasing the quality, attention to detail and bespoke craftsmanship that go into every build.

We’re more than just a team - the majority of us have salt running through our veins!

We had the fantastic opportunity to jump onboard Elly's smack for the day and we were exceptionally lucky with the weather.

Our team is made up of commercial skippers & crew, sailing instructors, dinghy sailors, yacht racers, classic yacht enthusiasts and worldwide cruisers. From the smallest dinghy to classic yachts, international racing campaigns and ocean-crossing adventures, our team brings a wealth of experience from across the sailing world.

That shared knowledge, passion and experience is at the heart of what we do.

As specialists in manufacturing covers for yachts, we understand the yachts we work with, whether we have worked on Superyachts or extensively cruised the bluewaters of the Med & Caribbean circuits, or hang out on the coastlines of the UK - we live and breathe it.

Our team building and knowledge day was a chance to share experience, learn from one another, strengthen our teamwork and celebrate the team behind the covers.

Onboard this stunning Swan 58 out in Palma the skipper and crew self-fitted our custom frameworks to install their new bimini, helm bimini and mesh shades for ultimate shading whilst being hit with the Med sun.

Premium stackpack in Elite9 Admiral Navy onboard this awesome Oceanis 423, now they're ready for some serious cruising! Off to the sunny Med they go....

Back onboard the stunning classic Vindilis for some additional covers required. We have fitted a new mast gaitor, a protective bowsprit sheath, a deckhouse cover with mesh over the portholes and also a new sail cover to protect her main.

Shes looking rather splended in the summer sun!

Our Hamble team had the pleasure of fitting this new helm bimini with custom frameworks onboard this X43 on the South Coast yesterday. Manufactured using Sauleda Basalto Grey with graphite binding shes certainly now ready for sunnier days ahead!

We are well and truly in the spring rush, and it looks like it's going to roll straight through into summer.

Last week, half the team spent the week in Finland templating and fitting aboard some beautiful new Swans that will soon be launched. Meanwhile, other team members were flying out to Rapallo to work aboard a stunning classic yacht, with further client visits taking place in Barcelona.

Everyone is back home for now, but only until next week when the travelling starts all over again!

It's a busy time, but we're grateful to be working with fantastic clients and projects across Europe.

Well, we do send our teams out to fit in all weathers, luckily midsummer is just around the corner! 🤭

Our Hamble team fitted an enclosure manufactured using WeatherMAX80 Black and a set of flybridge covers for the sofa, seat, console, helm seat and table using Stamoid black onboard this awesome Sealine F430.

Just in time for their weekend cruising!
