Agri.Cycle Limited

Agri.Cycle Limited Agri-Cycle process farm plastic waste within the UK, and take everything relating to your annual cropping cycle - we do not pick and choose!

Agri.cycle has been in business since 2004, established by a farming family for farmers. The company was set up in response to the introduction of EU Legislation regarding the handling and disposal of Agricultural Waste. The idea surrounding Agri.cycle was to keep the revenue within agriculture and also to process the plastic within the UK instead of shipping it abroad and giving another country t

he problem of dealing with it. We have a network of collection points. Most collection points offer a service to collect your farm plastic waste or alternatively you can deliver it in. At the point of transfer of your waste you will be provided with the paperwork you require to comply with the Agricultural Waste Legislation. We listened to our customers and have expanded our service to offer a plastic recycling service for tree guards, shelters, spirals and spent shotgun cartridges. We also introduced a dumpy bag - probably the world's largest and certainly the first in the UK - for larger farmers and growers. What will we think of next? What are the benefits of using Agri.cycle?

The work you don’t see!

While most people only see the collection, there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes at Agri.Cycle.

From unloading and storing materials correctly, keeping everything organised and ready for the right recycling route, to the office work that keeps everything compliant. Waste transfer notes are logged and stored correctly, paperwork is kept in order, and invoices are processed quickly so there are no headaches down the line.

It’s the unglamorous side of recycling, but it’s what makes the whole system work. Doing things correctly gives farmers confidence that their waste is being handled responsibly, compliantly, and with full traceability.

It might not always make exciting content, but it’s exactly why Agri.Cycle is trusted.

Built for Larger Farms

Our Dumpy Frame is designed for farms between 600–1,200 acres, or those producing circa 2,200 pesticide containers.
If smaller bags are filling up too quickly, the Dumpy Frame offers a more efficient and organised way of managing higher volumes of agricultural plastic, keeping yards tidy and collections simple, especially during busy periods.
When collected alongside a Dumpy Frame, all associated cardboard, fertiliser bags, and seed bags are collected free of charge, helping reduce clutter and improve overall waste management on farm.

Get in touch with Agri.Cycle on 01673 878215 to see if a Dumpy Frame is the right choice for your operation.

The Most Common Question We Get This Time of Year

One of the most common questions we get at the start of the year is when to arrange a collection.

The honest answer is there is no perfect date.

Every farm and estate are unique! What matters most is separating waste correctly, and planning before your yard gets busier and access becomes more difficult.
Getting your plastic organised in a timely manner helps make collections easier to plan when things get busier.

Merry Christmas from Agri.Cycle

On Christmas Day, we want to take a moment to wish everyone across the farming and rural community a very Merry Christmas.

We know that for many in agriculture, today is still a working day. Animals need feeding, yards need checking and the job never fully stops. Your commitment, resilience and hard work do not go unnoticed.
Thank you to every farmer, estate and rural business who has supported Agri.Cycle this year. We are proud to work alongside you and to play our part in supporting UK agriculture.

Wishing you a peaceful Christmas and a well-earned rest wherever possible.

As we move towards the end of the year, it feels like the right moment to pause and reflect.

Agriculture does not stop for Christmas. Livestock still need feeding, yards still need managing and waste still needs dealing with properly, regardless of the weather or the date on the calendar.
Throughout the year, farmers and rural businesses have trusted Agri.Cycle to support them with responsible recycling and compliance. That trust is something we do not take lightly.

As we approach the festive period, we want to thank everyone who has worked with us in 2025. Your commitment to doing things the right way helps protect our countryside and supports a more sustainable future for UK agriculture.

From all of us at Agri.Cycle, thank you.

Our Most Common Waste Streams

Farm plastic waste comes in many forms, but these four materials make up the bulk of what we collect across the UK. Each one is fully recyclable when handled correctly.

Silage Wrap
A major waste stream on livestock farms, especially through winter. Silage wrap builds up fast and is fully recyclable when kept separate.

Spray Cans
Essential for most farms and estates, but the empties can pile up quickly. We collect, separate and recycle them safely and in line with regulations.

Fertiliser and Seed Bags
Used across arable and mixed farms all year. Keeping these bags clean and dry makes recycling straightforward and helps maintain a tidy yard.

Shotgun Cartridges
A growing waste stream during the shooting season. Spent cartridges can be fully recycled through Agri.Cycle, provided they are kept clean and dry.

Whatever plastic waste your business produces, we are here to help you deal with it effectively and responsibly.

Despite the Weather ...

November brought some of the worst weather we have seen this year, but it did not slow us down.
Even with rain, wind, and shorter days, the Agri.Cycle team handled just under 500 tonnes of plastic waste for repurposing.

Thank you to every farmer, estate and business that kept recycling through the tough conditions.

Your commitment helps keep rural Britain clean, compliant, and moving forward.
If you have agricultural waste piling up and want to get booked in before the end of the year, please get in touch.

You asked, so we made it happen.

When we announced our new Mini Frames, the response was incredible. One question kept coming up more than any other:
“Can we use them for shotgun cartridges?”

So, we tested it, tweaked the design, and pushed through a few setbacks. The result is worth it.

Our Mini Frames are now fully compatible with shotgun cartridges.

They hold around five times more than a bulk bag (up to 105,000 cartridges), making them our biggest cartridge option yet and ideal for shoots, estates and anyone dealing with large volumes during the season.
