Bowring Transport Ltd is currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join our growing team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This role involves general haulage, Experience with flatbeds and load securing is preferred, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
Main Duties
• Driving Class 1 (C+E) articulated vehicles on general haulage work.
• Safely securing loads in accordance with company and legal requirements.
• Completing deliveries and collections efficiently and on time.
• Accurately completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks.
• Complying with Drivers' Hours Regulations and the Working Time Directive.
Requirements
• Full UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours Regulations and the Working Time Directive.
• A flexible, reliable, and positive "can-do" attitude.
• Flatbed and load-securing experience is preferred but not essential.
