Engineering Sunday.

We’ve had an issue with our main locomotive “Christine” last weekend, She has managed to strip a main gear on one of the bogies. So after ordering the part on Friday and it being delivered Saturday we’re now fitting the new gear to No1 bogie, No2 wheel set.

We just want to give Abbots Model Engineering a big shout out for the fantastic support and super fast delivery of the spare parts. And for building a superb locomotive that is very easy to maintain!

This being pretty much the hardest part to chance on the loco. But nothing more than a few hand tools and about an hour and a half and the loco will be back together and ready for our Club open weekend next Saturday & Sunday.
