We are a family run business and have been for over 30 years. Originally started by company owner Jim Gray, it began in Redcar. Mr Gray had one goal to build a successful business and commit himself to his customers and his business. With his determination and ambition, not to mention a memorable and quirky company name, he set about building his dream. It is this commitment and with the support a

nd hard work of his family and team that his business grew and prospered. It is also the reason that 90% of our business comes from our customers recommendation. A number of years ago Mr Gray saw the opportunity to expand his business into the London Market. And went about building Mr Shifter London, sticking to the principles that made his business.

Plenty of Steps in Today ☀️

Not every move involves parking right outside the front door. Today’s job came with a very long walk between the truck and the property, so the lads have definitely earned their steps for the day.

The sunshine certainly helped, although carrying furniture back and forward in the heat is still no small task. Even on the longer walks, the same care and attention goes into every item coming on and off the vehicle.

It is days like this that remind you removals are not just about driving from A to B. Sometimes it is teamwork, patience and a lot of walking in the sun, all part of the job we have proudly done since 1978.
