Here we go!!! The team will be out and about this week supporting the traffic management and road closures required for the civic week events. Proud to be local & supporting local events 🙌🙌

🎉 The wait is finally over… Tomorrow, Narberth Civic Week 2026 begins! 🎉

After months of planning, meetings, fundraising, sponsorship, organising, problem-solving and plenty of late nights… we’re finally here.

Tomorrow we officially kick off a week of community spirit, entertainment, laughter and making memories. Whether you’re a lifelong local or visiting Narberth for the first time, we hope you’ll come along and enjoy everything that’s on offer.

As Chairman, I’d just like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped get us to this point – our committee, volunteers, sponsors, advertisers, venues, local businesses and everyone working behind the scenes. This week simply wouldn’t happen without you.

From this point on… there’s no more planning, no more meetings, no more “just one last email.” It’s showtime!

Will everything go perfectly? Probably not. No event ever does. But one thing I can promise is that an incredible team of volunteers has worked tirelessly to put together a fantastic week for our town, and we’ll give it everything we’ve got.

This year is especially poignant as I dedicate Civic Week to the memory of Anne Owen – our resident worm charmer – whose passion for Narberth and Civic Week will never be forgotten.

So let’s fill the streets, support our local businesses, cheer on our participants, and make this a Civic Week to remember.

Another busy weekend ahead for team GLTM. Good luck tomorrow to Milford Haven Round Table. Our crews will be out and about supplying the traffic management arrangements for this great carnival and for Broad haven Triathlon on Sunday.
