And finally, that long-overdue video of the dolphins spotted by a few club members last week! 🐬

This pod was seen close to Thorne Island near Dale, near the entrance to the Haven, and are believed to have been common dolphins. Not such a common sight in the Haven — which makes it all the more special. What an incredible experience for those lucky enough to witness it!

Our goal is simple: to give our members the best possible experience on the water 🚤

That’s why every year we take all boats out for a full annual service. Each one receives a main dealer mechanical service by Dale Sailing Company Ltd, ensuring top-tier reliability for the season ahead.

But we don’t stop there…

Every boat undergoes a complete transformation:
✨ Exterior heated wash
✨ Fresh antifoul, hull polish & UV wax
✨ Full interior deep clean (Jupiter had TWO full days!)
✨ Replacement of worn or broken items

This season also included:
🔧 New tables
🔧 Bilge pumps
🔧 Electrical upgrades
🔧 Gelcoat repairs
🔧 Navigation improvements

Once complete, the fleet is relaunched and returned to their berths—ready for you to simply step aboard and enjoy.

Chin Chin is now looking shipshape and shiny, ready for the summer season! ☀️⛵

We’ve been busy cleaning and polishing the boat inside and out. A fresh coat of antifoul has been applied, a brand-new bilge pump fitted, and Dale Sailing Company Ltd have carried out a full engine service.

With tomorrow’s storm in the forecast, we’ve decided to delay the launch. If all goes to plan, she’ll be back on her berth ready for this coming weekend.

We're pleased to announce that 'Saturn' our Bronze level Merry Fisher 585, has now returned to her summer berth following annual maintenance, including full engine service by Dale Sailing Company Ltd, exterior polish, and wax treatment, interior valet, antifouling and safety equipment check We welcome you to book and use the boat as usual. Lets hope summer is just around the corner!

The Merry Fisher 585 is now ashore for its scheduled annual maintenance.

During this time, Dale Sailing Company Ltd will be carrying out a full mechanical service The boat will also receive UV wax treatment, polishing and a fresh coat of antifoul.

We expect the boat to return to its berth within approximately one week.

Mike and I are delighted to confirm that, due to the club’s success, our Bronze Level Membership is now full. We’re excited to continue developing the club and have plans to expand. If you’d like to join at the Bronze level, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we’ll happily add you to our priority waiting list. There is no cost to join the waiting list, and we aim to offer you full membership at the earliest opportunity- We still have several spaces left for our Silver Level Membership.
