πŸ… The Bikeability Olympics are returning as part of MK Festival of Cycling 2026.

Taking place on Tuesday 23rd June at Stantonbury Athletics Track, the event will bring together young riders for a fun and engaging day focused on cycling skills, confidence and active travel 🚴

There will be two sessions throughout the day:
πŸ•˜ 9am–12pm – Developing Teams
πŸ•§ 12.30pm–3.30pm – Developing Teams

The Bikeability Olympics help children develop practical riding skills while building enthusiasm for cycling through games, activities and friendly competition.

Spectators are welcome, so come along and support the young riders as they take part in the challenges and celebrate their achievements 🌟

On Sunday 21st June, cyclists will meet at 4am in Station Square for the Summer Solstice Ride to the Light Pyramid in Campbell Park β˜€οΈπŸš΄

The ride offers the chance to welcome the sunrise with fellow riders before enjoying coffee and croissants together in one of Milton Keynes’ most iconic locations. The event will also connect with a Breeze Ride for women as part of the wider festival celebrations.

It’s a memorable and social way to kick off a full week of cycling activities across the city while experiencing Milton Keynes at its quietest and most peaceful.

From Sunday 21st to Sunday 28th June, the city will once again celebrate cycling, active travel and community with a full week of rides, activities, workshops and family-friendly events 🌟

Whether you enjoy relaxed social rides, family cycling activities, women’s rides, bike maintenance sessions or simply want to try something new, there will be events taking place across Milton Keynes for all ages and abilities.

The festival will include community rides, Dr Bike sessions, Bikeability Olympics, e-bike experiences, cycling awards, family activities and opportunities to explore Milton Keynes by bike in a fun and welcoming way 🚲
