We’re always very clear that Black Mamba glove are single use:

Tested and certified CAT III on this understanding.

Some people feel differently, so here’s some good, honest Friday feedback:

A hardworking Plant Fitter, who kindly agreed to test out some samples, told us in clear terms…

“You can feel the strength, and had 2 days [use] out of them before I caught them…

Really easy to handle all my tools and all the little fiddly parts that sometimes you can’t do with a glove on.

All in all, a really solid pair of gloves!”

So why choose better gloves?

Gloves which are to the thinnest specification (2.8 mils-3.0 mils) will often be supplied to workers in the UK regardless of their job task.

This leaves many workers with frequent issues: rips, micro-tears, splits and snagging.

Poor choices in terms of hand protection cost time and money, create waste and might even result in workers failing to don appropriate hand protection simply because they deem that “it’s not worth the trouble”.

Instead, we’ve introduced thicker, stronger and even biodegradable product over time to specifically respond to workers’ needs.

Ever had a Thumb Blow-Out?

Workers experience problems when the gloves which they’re supplied aren’t fit for purpose.

The thumb is used relentlessly for gripping, so the space between the thumb joint and the index finger is a key stress point where gloves commonly fail.

Minimise the risk of failure:
1. Choose gloves of a suitable thickness for the job task ⛏
2. Look for brands which prioritise quality control and performance đź’Ş

Surely, there has to be a better option than waiting for decades for gloves to degrade once they enter landfill?

Biodegradable - without sacrificing performance and not paying more!

Workers can go to one brand for the choice you need for the right hand protection.
