With all the chaos at the moment with Local Service Buses and so on.

The Number 11 Heritage Bus service runs weekends, we offer a family run independent Bus service only 2 days a week. Our objective originally was to have a nice little service running between Moreton in Marsh railway station and Bourton on the Water

The service was set up for many reasons, naturally as everyone would assume that its business and you would be correct in thinking so, like most independent businesses in the area we can only offer what we are good at and thats travel with a twist.

But it seems that offering a service for tourists and locals has now turned into something a little bit more chaotic. We also have noticed people stuck at Bus stops, angry locals missing their connection to Moreton and all the other problems. Last week was a perfect example of 3 teenagers stuck in Moreton with tickets to another company, no money and no way of getting back due to non attendance.
We simply just let them travel to get them home.

Our service is now carrying more locals, families and people getting to work than it has ever done. We also have people not quite knowing what we actually do. Usually an awkward moment of looking at the Bus and assuming its a tour or expensive. No and no.
We are a registered service, we run to a timetable and we try as much as we can to keep to the timetable (I won't go into traffic and parking as that has been well covered) but we do also get stuck.

One thing we have learned with tourism is the following.
Most travel by car, if we can get them on a Bus it then cuts the traffic down by one car. If we can get 70 people on a Bus, thats a lot of cars not stuck in traffic, So on.

We don't please everyone, a few don't like Buses and Coaches. Thats fine in our eyes because in certain places neither do we.

What can we offer BotW and Stow?

Well for starters we are not council funded so no monies are paid to us nor ANY subsidising. We stand alone.

We are a local independent family run Business, we can be contacted and we will answer questions.

All drivers are local, have local knowledge and more importantly have the respect for the area we live in.
We offer an hourly service Saturdays and Sundays till the end of September, everyone is welcome to travel. We try to stick to the fare cap between towns and also try to run to time.

Hopefully this helps

Saturday and Sunday service running as normal this weekend. The first Bus to depart Moreton in Marsh Railway station for
Stow on the Wold
Bourton-on-the-Water
Then back onto Chipping Campden leaves at 09.40 then runs hourly.

We don't serve Chipping Campden all day so please study the timetables readily available at the stops, on the Buses or with our A boards.

All Buses will try to stay on schedule as long as the traffic is steady. Please remember, if we are stuck in it then so is everyone else. We will be with you.

This is a Local Bus service, you don't have to buy day tickets if you just want transfer town to town.

We are not Council funded and try to keep travel as cheap as possible. Town to town just £3 and a returns £5. This works out cheaper than the fare cap.

We hope you enjoy seeing and travelling on the Heritage Bus Service.

And many more places.

Visit the page for more info, a timetable at the top.

Travel between towns just £3 to meet the fare cap.

For instance using a big corporate company is £3 one way.
