11 Service Saturday

Something a little special as one of the operating Buses for Saturday is East Kent Leyland Royal Tiger.

This is the sole survivor for East Kent and will be on the 10.40 from Moreton Station running all day alongside KUF199F.

A Southdown & EK mix. Most probably passed each other at some stage when back in service in the 60s.

What a lovely day its been on the 11. Many happy people and even traffic was kind.

Just a reminder, we are a service. This isn't a special pre book or a guided tour. Just some old ladies still doing what they have always done.
Move people to their destinations.

You can travel from one town to another for just £3. We're not council funded but we try to keep with the times and have cheap travel.

As we load KUF ready for its first day on the 11 service tomorrow it reminds us why we do this. This little Leopard has had a long journey back to passenger carrying conditions and we are please to announce it passed its Class 6 Mot and is ready for everyone to enjoy.

Chipping Campden is a beautiful place to visit. You must plan your visits due to infrequent Buses throughout the day. We as a service can only issue timetables and then let yourselves plan your day.

We will assist where possible of course but drivers can only refer to the timetable which we are set to.

WEEKEND DRIVER REQUIRED

An amazing chance to join the staff at Troopers Lodge driving our lovely old ladies.

We are looking for an occasional weekend driver. Typically would suit semi retired person or someone with flexibility to drive the 11 service and occasional weddings.

You must be (here comes the list)

Holder of a clean PSV license and a current CPC.
Enhanced DBS checked (we will assist with this)
Able to drive older vehicles (crash box not important but a big plus)

Able to run a service bus with paying passengers including ticket machines (setright and card machine while keeping to a timetable.
Training will be given to successful candidate.

Care in your work, we have 0 tolerance to abuse to vehicles and general public.
The love of older Buses, this isn't Stagecoach or Go Ahead. This is a passion and love which has evolved into a fantastic run family business.

Drivers are required to assist with cleaning and other duties, generally muck in and help.

Be presentable and well turned out

Polite and helpful with the tourist trade.

Not be frightened to ask for help when required.

If you think you are all of the above then realistically you should be running the country. If thats not your thing, get in touch and drive

Good rates of pay and well looked after.

Vetting of both parties will be undertaken 😊, we don't bite.
