A big shout out to our Bennington USA representative Aaron Soldavin and his team for organising this spectacular arena driving event at the Devon Horse show in Pennsylvania this weekend. Devon USA is the oldest horse show in the states and we look forward to sharing pictures from the event.

Awesome Ashfields.
Team Bennington were thrilled to be out competing this weekend in the Advanced Single Horse Class, with Duke. He was awesome and absolutely thrilled with our progress. Finishing in 3rd place overall, the highlight being 2nd on the marathon by 1 point!

A massive thank you to Wendy and Joss Smith for being the best support team. Bert Sheffield for all her help during our winter ridden and driven training. Exciting times ahead for us all.

Eco Voltz for saving our legs going round the course and Racesafe for our body protectors, we didn’t know we had them on.

Finally thank you to Ashfields and all the volunteers in helping to make the event a great success.

Fabulous 2026 Indoor Carriage Driving Championships

What an unforgettable weekend. Huge congratulations to every single competitor, the atmosphere was electric, the smiles were contagious, and the partnership between horses and drivers was a joy to witness.

We were incredibly proud to see so many Bennington Carriages in action, every model, every age, all being enjoyed to the fullest. And the results speak for themselves…

A phenomenal achievement for all involved.

Wendy and I loved meeting so many new drivers on the stand, from booking “Try Driving” sessions to helping people connect with local clubs, the enthusiasm for the sport is stronger than ever.

A heartfelt thank you to the volunteers and organisers who made this event shine. Your dedication keeps our sport thriving.

Congratulations to all drivers and support crew who have qualified for the Indoor Carriage Driving Championships 2026 - at Arena Uk 10 - 12th April 2026.

We would like to send our very best wishes to every competitor, groom, and support team heading to Arena UK this weekend. It’s always a fantastic showcase of skill, partnership, and passion for the sport, and we hope you all enjoy a successful and memorable show in Grantham, Lincolnshire.

Come and watch the Indoor Carriage Driving National Championships at Arena UK, Grantham, Lincolnshire NG32 2EF on the 10th – 12th April 2026 – Free entry for spectators.

The event consists of 3 sections:
The elegance of the precision & paces
The precision of the cones driving
Speed of the obstacles

Team Bennington are delighted to be sponsors and will have a pop-up stand with information on our extensive range of carriages, Zilco harness / accessories and information on how to start and details on our popular “Try Driving” sessions.
