Jubilee Trip Boat on the K&A Canal - Newbury Canal boat or barge Jubilee runs public trips every weekend and on Thursdays from Easter to October in Newbury plus extra trips in the holidays.

Also available for charter. • Board our 29 seat narrowboat for a relaxing trip through historic Newbury with our enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fully-trained volunteer crew. There’s plenty of interest to be seen as you rise up a lock and cruise through a swing bridge

• Tea, coffee and light refreshments available. Enjoy a glass of wine or beer from our licensed bar

• Please leave push chairs in your car if possible. Otherwise they can only be carried on the roof. Babies under 2 travel free but must have a ticket

• Access to the boat is up a ramp and down 5 steps. The crew will be there to assist. Sorry, we can’t carry wheelchairs

• Trips run from Easter until October weather permitting. Look out for our themed Pirate, Halloween and Santa trips

It's back! We really missed it on Newbury Wharf.

The newly restored crane has been returned and is looking great in its new look. The paint has been stripped off and the timber underneath treated. We think it looks good!

We can once again say our boat trips set off from under the crane on Newbury Wharf!

Did you know that Newbury Town bridge is the oldest bridge on the Kennet and Avon Canal? This lovely stone bridge was built between 1769 and 1772. Jubilee passes under it on her public trips.

You can enjoy a relaxing boat trip over the whole of bank holiday weekend including Monday. We have 3 trips on each day.

You can book ahead or just turn up - there may still be seats available.

Shiver me timbers landlubbers!

Don't forget our School Holiday Pirate trips for pirates large and small! Board our trip boat 'Jubilee' for a fun themed trip through historic Newbury with our enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fully-trained volunteer crew. ’Jubilee’ will be decorated in the Pirate theme. We hope you will too!

Thre are still places available on Tuesday 18th August, so don't miss out! Arrrrr!

Children must be accompanied by at least one adult. The trip lasts an hour. Jubilee operates from next to the Stone Building on Newbury Wharf, the best postcode to use is RG14 5AS.
