Meet Aidan! 👋
Aidan joined our Passenger Services Team four months ago, but his journey with Your Airport started even earlier.
After taking part in the Ambassador Programme last year, delivered in partnership with Newcastle College, Aidan gained valuable experience working alongside our Security and Passenger Services teams.
His hard work and enthusiasm quickly earned him a seasonal role, which has since led to a permanent position in Passenger Services.
And if securing the new job wasn't exciting enough, Aidan recently celebrated his 18th birthday too! 🎉
Aidan said: "One of the best parts of my job is meeting new people.
"Whether they're heading off on holiday, travelling the world or visiting friends and family, it's rewarding to know that I've helped make their experience at the Airport a positive one.
"I've always wanted a career in aviation, so being part of the Ambassador Programme gave me a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn more about the industry.
"Going from the programme to a seasonal role, and now a permanent position, has been an amazing experience. I've learned so much already and I'm excited to see what the future holds."
Aidan's journey is a brilliant example of how hard work, determination and a positive attitude can create exciting opportunities, and he's a fantastic part of our team.
