Class 1 Driver – Distance Work | £40,000 + £26.20 night Out Allowance & paid parking.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Class 1 Driver to join our growing team for long-distance work. This is a full-time role requiring commitment, reliability, and a high standard of professionalism. The position typically involves working 5 days per week, with the flexibility to work a 6th day depending on business needs. A minimum of 4 nights out per week is required, with a tax-free night out allowance of £26.20 and parking costs covered via Snap, in addition to other reimbursable expenses.6th day is paid.
Key Responsibilities:

Be calm, punctual, dependable, and adaptable to varying schedules and business demands.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the UK road network.
Build and maintain positive relationships with both clients and the team.
Comply with all safety regulations and company standards.
Mostly curtainsider work but do shunt non adr tanks from time to time. Store work is mostly fridges.
Requirements:
Valid CPC qualification, with sound knowledge of EU driver regulations and the Working Time Directive (WTD).
A minimum of 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience.
Aged 25 or over for insurance purposes.
No more than 6 points on your driving licence.
Excellent route planning and navigation skills (a truck nav is provided)
A reliable, flexible, and professional approach is essential.

On average, our full-time drivers worked 38 hours per week over the 13 weeks from January to March period – this will vary based on workload but serves as a useful reference for the "quieter" times.
