A HOW - TO guide on using Mann and Van

Now one thing we come accross on a daily basis, are new customers with little to no experience of how we work, or how to go about obtaining a quote 🤦. So we've put together a little "how to guide" below, which should, if followed correctly, save you and us time and effort 👌.
So the first question when making an enquiry should ALWAYS be..."are you available?"...This may seem obvious to many, but sometimes we are given all the information in one huge download, then when we ask "when does it need doing by?", we're already booked 🙈👎.
Once we've checked availability, we then ask for as much information as possible relating to the specific job. If its a house removal, we'll now make arrangements to call round and work out the quote. If its a more simple job, collection and delivery of a single or multiple items, we'll need to understand whats involved to work out a quote there and then, while on the phone or a swift reply to a message...continued:-
● What exactly needs moving?
● Where is it going from and to?
● Does it need to be dismantled/assembled?
● Are there any issues with access at either end?
Making payment is another step which sometimes requires some consideration 🤑. We have always accepted cash, and always will 💷, then the next most commonly used form of payment is by card 💳, on our fully PCI DSS compliant card machine 📲, and lastly an instant bank transfer 🏦 . When carrying out B2B works, payment within 7 days of receipt of invoice is expected, unless arranged prior to the commencement of any works ☑️.
It really is that simple 😉👍🏻. We do however understand not everyone is computer or smart phone literate, may struggle with messaging or email, so as "old school" as this sounds, you can just pick up the phone ☎️ 📞 and speak to us in person...we're not always able to answer if working, but you can leave a message and we try to return calls / messages as often as we can. We answer calls Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm only, but messages are picked up outside of normal working hours.
As a final note, there's no such thing as a stupid question to us 👍🏻, after 1/4 of a century, 00000's of customers met and jobs carried out all over the UK and beyond, we've heard 👂 or seen 👀 it all 🤣 and nothing shocks or surprises us any more 😉.
