Is this ADHD? π«ͺ
As you know this morning I woke up to a flat tyre, so I thought cool, I'll whip it off and take it down to the garage to get sorted. π€
Jacked the van up and removed the wheel, whilst it was jacked up I thought ooh I've got fresh oil and filter I'll do that while it's jacked up. π
Dropped the oil then thought I've got the other service bits so I'll change them while the oil drains, went to fetch them then as I walked past Penelope I thought I need to paint the floor again in there so I started clearing the van out. π«ͺ
Then realised I was going to get the filters so cleared the van out quick and then got the filters and changed them over. π
Then Danny boy asked if I wanted any help so off we went back to Penelope and got him started with sealing the floors. We did it together for about 10 minutes then I realised I was already doing a job.....back to Betty to put the sump plug back in and fill the oil. π¬
Postman turns up and hands me a box. Open the box and it's a new engine mount for Betty, off I go to the garage to get tools to fit it. As I go to the garage I check on Danny boy and start helping him paint again. π I then realise I was already trying to finish a job so I leave him to it and get the tools to fit the engine mount, fit that, finish doing the oil then thought about checking the rear wheels on Betty, whip those off then remember that the handbrake needed adjusting so start doing that and leave the wheels. I actually did that job and finished it then walked back to check on Danny boy, as I walk back I think about sealing the roof on Penelope as we had a slight drip in the down pours the other day, grab the ladder and check the roof then start scraping old sealant off and realise I've started another job. πππ
I also did many more side quests after. π€·π½
How do I stay so locked in when on a move but at home I'm all over the place.
There must be a way to stay focused. Although I'm not going to lie, I did get loads done but guess what......I never took the wheel to the garage to sort the puncture. πππ
