A big thank you to Savino Del Bene for giving Hollie the opportunity to expand her knowledge!

Global leader in international shipping, Savino Del Bene in Birmingham answered the call from British International Freight Association - BIFA to support Freight Forwarding Apprentice Hollie Coxon from Nationwide Courier Service Ltd.

Hollie is nearing completion of her apprenticeship with Freight Forwarding specialist provider Logical Training but required some practical work experience to demonstrate the range of Freight knowledge she’d acquired to meet the qualification requirements.

International shipping company Savino Del Bene stepped forward to offer four days of work placement for Hollie with different members of the team across different functions and multiple modes of transport.

Julian Frattaroli, branch manager, Birmingham said “A core value of Savino Del Bene is to share knowledge and collaboration. It’s been great for our team to showcase our approach to providing excellence in international shipping and help Hollie towards achieving her apprenticeship qualification.”

Carl Hobbis, member services director, BIFA commented “It’s fantastic to see freight companies working together to support young talent in the industry and share knowledge. It was very kind offer from Julian and his team to give their time.”
